Directions:
a. For this assignment, you will use the 3-2-1 Bridge Thinking Routine. This routine helps us to uncover our initial thought, ideas, questions, and understanding about a topic and then to connect these to new thinking about the topic after receiving some instruction.
b. Before doing the assigned readings, and based on what you know about cultural competence in reference to the approaches to evaluation you have explored so far at this moment, write down three ideas about it.
c. Write two questions you have about cultural competence in reference to the approaches to evaluation you have explored so far.
d. Then, write one analogy you have about cultural competence in reference to the approaches to evaluation you have explored so far. View these examples of analogies.

Phase 2: After reading
a. After reading the assigned readings, complete another set of 3 ideas, 2 questions, and 1 analogy.
Next, post your reflection in the discussion board. Share your initial and new thinking about cultural competence in reference to the approaches to evaluation you have explored so far, explaining to your partners how and why your thinking has shifted.
